Final Mission at RoboCup German Open 2014 Rescue Robot League competition

This video shows the complete final mission of Team Hector Darmstadt at the RoboCup German Open 2014 Rescue Robot League competition. We focus on robot autonomy, so the robot is controlled autonomously whenever possible. The robot has to search for simulated victims (emulated by babydolls and heating pads) and also map QR codes located in the environment. The environment is unknown to the robot, it thus has to perform Simultaneous Localization and Mapping (SLAM) to localize itself and learn a map of the environment at the same time.

Sample footage from my eBay Alien 500 Quadcopter upgrades. Changes include brand new Custom Brushless Gimbal Design, Chinese arms replaced with DJI Arms, KK replaced with Naza-M Lite Controller. Since the Gimbal doesn't hang underneath, I no longer need legs and as such she can get way more airspeed on it without the quad oscillating due to the drag from the legs and gimbal.

Raspberry Pi - Robot Mini Sumo (Proyecto Final)

Les escribimos desde Latacunga - Ecuador, somos estudiantes de Ingeniera Mecatrnica en la Universidad de las Fuerzas Armadas.
Nuestro proyecto final se llama Pi Bot, un robot Mini sumo que cuenta con un sensor de Ultrasonido, Sensores de Linea y Dos motores, la programacin se realiz en Python, se busca hacer que el robot sea autnomo en una batalla!!!
