Robot Soccer @ Japan SF Convention
Recorded the start of this soccer game played by radio-controlled robots in Shizuoka, Japan during the 50th annual Japan science fiction convention "Donburacon L" on September 3, 2011.

All of the robots were constructed by hobbyists, and I was really impressed by the range of creativity all the designs showed. Especially how they were all able to stand right back up when they fell down. Aside from being really cute, there's some serious technological expertise on display here!

Unlike the survival game video I uploaded from the next day of the convention, all the robots here are bipedal...probably because they're playing soccer.
