- Community Award: vote for your favourite idea with a like! -

"Pets often feel alone at home when their guardians are out for work. RoboPet is a robot companion for pets. It is able to play sounds either pre-recorder or directly streamed from the guardian smartphone. The guardian can control the robot remotely using a simple web browser or a smartphone.

Autonomous Robot Speedway Competition 2009

Autonomous Robot Speedway Competition 2009 I filmed this at the Autonomous Robot Speedway Competition at the University of Maryland.

The robot that completes two autonomous laps the fastest without hitting the orange cones wins. They originally planned to do this outside with a more complicated course, but the weather looked like it would rain so they brought it all inside.

L6052 Quadcopter with Syma X5C Propellers

The L6052 becomes an extremely stable flier when fitted with Syma X5C propellers. It actually may fly more stable than the X5C itself! (HAVE REMOVED L6052 LINK DUE TO REDUCED PERFORMANCE OF UPGRADED MODEL. Lishitoys apparently is now shipping an improved version with headless mode. Unfortunately this new version is intended for beginners, and no longer has the maneuverability demonstrated in this video.)
