
3D Systems (DDD), a company based in Rock Hill South Carolina, has developed the first ever 3d-printed exoskeleton robotic suit to help paralyzed people walk.
The exoskeleton robotic suit was recently worn by Amanda Boxtel, a woman who has been paralyzed from the waist down since 1992 when she was injured in a skiing accident in Aspen Colorado. Her doctor had told Amanda that she would never again be able to walk.
