Hello dear friends, just wanted to show you my configuration that might inspire you in your build. Considering this frame doesn't have the power circuit embeeded, I had to use a power distribution board which makes things a bit more complicated, but stilll... Also I show you how to install the led light strips, and finally some thoughts on the build... As always, comments are welcomed :) Check out more on my blog: Http://rchelistuff.blogspot.com

Part of an excellent lecture given by Professor John Preskill at Caltech where he describes the potential use of topologically protected states in quantum computing.
'Standard' qubits have been implemented in diverse physical systems, Now, topological qubits can be created using a pair of Majorana fermions and could potentially be used for decoherence-free quantum computing.
Majorana Fermions are quasiparticles, theoretically predicted to form as excitations in superconductors.
Originally conceived as a supersonic bomber, the North American XB-70A Valkyrie instead became the world's largest experimental research aircraft, flying from September 21, 1964, until February 4, 1969.
Two experimental prototypes of the XB-70A were under construction when the bomber program was canceled. At the same time there was growing interest in an American supersonic transport (SST), and the Valkyrie seemed a perfect testbed for SST research.
A brief (well, 10 minutes but I tried to avoid rambling) tutorial on the basics for a quick start with quadcopters, aimed at utter newbies. This guide uses the Cheerson CX10 - the principles are the same for all quadcopters, and this one is a perfect indoor trainer as it it cheap, robust and very, very portable (get one here: http://www.banggood.com/Cheerson-CX10-CX10-Mini-24G-4CH-6-Axis-LED-RC-Quadcopter-RTF-p-926614.html).
I chose the wrong time and place for this video, so I'll do a better one sometime later.
Our Curiosity The Curiosity Mars Rover is one of the most complex machines ever built, a fully equipped analytical laboratory rolling around on the surface of another planet. "Our Curiosity" celebrates the mission's exploratory spirit and scientific prowess with narration from Neil DeGrasse Tyson and Felicia Day, and an original score from Austin Wintory.

20 students, 4 projects, 2 schools, 1 weekend. Watch to see how all of these things came together at Caltech campus in Pasadena on the weekend of May 31. Working with some of the best students from Art Center and Caltech made for a pretty successful event. Projects included a sign-language translator, a direction signaler for cyclists, tags which allow you to locate missing objects and an earpiece which enhances your hearing.

The DARPA Warrior Web program's goal is to create a soft, lightweight undersuit to help reduce injuries and fatigue while improving mission performance. DARPA is responsible for the development of new technologies for the U.S. military.
Researchers from Harvard University's Wyss Institute for Biologically Inspired Engineering spent the past two years developing a biologically inspired smart suit that aims to boost efficiency through a new approach.

DJI's new quadcopter is one of the coolest we've seen--a huge upgrade from the current Phantom 2 Vision+ we've been using. The Inspire 1 can record 4K video, lifts its propeller struts, and transmit clear HD video to the pilot. We chat in-depth with Eric Cheng, DJI's Director of Aerial Imaging, about all the new features in the Inspire 1 and then take it out for a test flight!
Thanks to Eric Cheng and DJI for the video coverage and showing us the Inspire !
Chinese Military Exoskeleton Presented during the 2014 Zhuhai Airshow (Airshow China), this HULC-styled powered leg exosketon for the Chinese military has a coefficient of 80% (100kg weight will only feel like 20kg to the wearer) and is very flexible, even allowing for side-ways kicks.
An improved model will soon be introduced into PLA service within a few years.
FANUC America's line of industrial robots for high-speed pick and place applications is the most robust in the industry, including a variety of robot models in multiple size and payload classes to handle nearly any manufacturing application.

During a NASA Television media briefing from the agencys Kennedy Space Center in Florida, NASA officials discussed the completed construction of the new Orion spacecraft and details of its first test flight, scheduled for Dec. 4. During the 4.5-hour flight, called Exploration Flight Test-1, Orion will travel farther than any crewed spacecraft has gone in more than 40 years, before returning to Earth at speeds near 20,000 mph and generating temperatures up to 4,000 degrees Fahrenheit.

Thomas FPVing JB's new Glitch 240 Mini Quad on an extremely windy day! We were visiting JB last week and before leaving to go home he was really wanting Thomas to FPV it and provide some feedback.
The park had some people in it, but it's worth watching how Thomas is well aware of where people are and how he avoids going near anyone. We don't normally fly in these sorts of parks but it gives you a good idea how the Spotter is working with the pilot.
All in all it's a great little quad with some fantastic design features.
I love quadcopters, as you know if you've been with us for any length of time. Some one of the highlights of 3DPalooza for me was getting to play with - and even fly - the Iris+ from 3D Robotics. This is a big, serious quadcopter rigged with a gimbal to carry a GoPro camera. And you can fly it from an Android tablet! You can just trace a flight path on a map, and away you go!

DJI is the leader in drones and the company just introduced a radical new model. The Inspire 1 builds upon the success of the Phantom and integrates some of the magic found in the firms professional-level drones, including the ability to stream 1080p video up to a mile away. At ,800, the Inspire 1 isnt cheap, but it packs an unparalleled suite of technology in its arsenal. Josh Constine looks at the new DJI Inspire 1 Quadcopter.
